Inspired by a rich history of arts patronage, the Prattville Gallery invites you to experience hospitality and the arts in Chelsea.
The gallery is located within the Prattville neighborhood in Chelsea, Massachusetts; land long cultivated for farming and, more recently, for communal gardening. After half a century of active use, the gardens fell into disrepair and were later transformed into a public park. It is no small delight for the gallery to overlook a park. Chelsea itself is a densely populated city, located within a state that is currently a global leader in healthcare, biotechnology, and the sciences.
“The great Master Gardener…in a wonderful providence, with Their own hand, planted me here, where, by Their grace, in this part of Their vineyard, I grow.”
“XVI – For Marion M’Naught” in Letters of Samuel Rutherford (Carlisle, PA: Banner of Truth, 1664/2012), 62.
